Our Rites of Passage Program (RPP) is a transformative, 12-month mentorship designed to help students transition smoothly into adulthood. Rooted in the principles of community, personal growth, and cultural heritage, RPP offers an enriching experience that fosters responsibility, self-awareness, and leadership.

Program Highlights:

  • Focus: Transition to adulthood through mentorship and community support

  • Structure: Weekly educational meetings, assignments, and an in-person graduation ceremony

 

Weekly Educational Meetings:

Each week, our participants engage in interactive and insightful meetings that cover a variety of topics essential for personal development. These sessions are designed to build knowledge, skills, and confidence. Topics include:

  • Personal Finance

  • Leadership Skills

  • Emotional Intelligence

  • Cultural Heritage and Traditions

  • Health and Wellness

  • Community Service and Involvement

 

Assignments:

In addition to our weekly meetings, students will complete various assignments that reinforce the lessons and encourage practical application. These assignments are designed to:

  • Foster critical thinking

  • Enhance problem-solving skills

  • Promote self-reflection and personal growth

 

Graduation:

At the end of the 12-month journey, students will participate in an in-person graduation. This event celebrates their achievements, marks their transition into adulthood, and acknowledges their hard work and dedication. The ceremony includes:

  • Presentation of Certificates

  • Cultural and Traditional Ceremonies

  • Speeches from Mentors and Graduates

  • A Community Celebration
